A Jacksonville Beach native, Marjorie Dickinson began her interest in studying the human body as a medieval French Literature scholar at Columbia University. She became fascinated in the detailed anatomical studies and macabre drawings, influenced by the bubonic plague. After her college graduation, she embarked on a radial journey, completing the Therapeutic Massage and Hydrotherapy program at the Florida School of Massage in 2004. She graduated from their teacher training program in 2006.
Looking to diversify her healthcare skills, Marjorie went on to graduate with her BSN from the University of North Florida in 2022 and, after obtaining her RN licensure, has worked in both the Emergency Department and Medical/Surgical unit in the hospital. A lifelong learner, Marjorie enjoys teaching workshops--as well as attending them!
Away from the bedside, Marjorie enjoys running, hiking, painting, and treasure hunting for her vintage Etsy shop, Bold City Gifts.

The Osprey, or sea hawk, is our incredible local bird of prey that is a beast of a fisherman. Despite inclement weather, rough seas, and diminishing habitats, this raptor encourages us to persevere--no matter what. The sea-diving osprey is a rare symbol of keen vision, power, and freedom. In this way, I found them to be the perfect mascot for the healing sanctuary that I envision Osprey Bodywork to be for our community.
